2023 Award RecipientsThe Inaugural Arkansas Nursing Legacy Award Recipients represented Nursing Legends from around the State. The purpose of the award is to celebrate Arkansas Nurses who have made significant lifetime contributions to the profession of nursing. Recipients were scored in a highly competitive process based on: their extraordinary contributions as a role model or change agent; their positive impact on improving health policy, promoting a culture of health, advancing the profession, and advancing health equity; and their unique legacy that they have left or will leave on the profession of nursing.
